SEGA have revealed some details of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, a game that was unveiled during Microsoft's recent Xbox Games Showcase event. The title was a surprise to everyone and there was a lot of confusion as to what exactly it was - a reskin of PSO2 or a brand new game. Here's the bullet points straight from SEGA.The game actually takes place 1000 years after the current Phantasy Star Online 2 world and events have taken place, but despite that, there will be some back and forth capabilities for players of both games including some cosmetics, character items and more. Co-Op play will be the same four player party system, but larger battles can contain up to three parties working together for a 12 player co-op experience. Nice! In case you missed it, here's the teaser trailer below.
Publisher Deep Silver and developer KING Art Games today announced the upcoming Pre-Season for Iron Harvest, a real time strategy game set in a dieselpunk themed era. The game is set to release on September 1, 2020 on PC. The console version will be released early 2021. At the dawn of the 20th century shortly after the end of World War I, the world is full of secrets and mysteries, of opportunities and challenges. Tradition clashes with scientific and technological progress while Europe is recovering from the brutal battles of the first World War. Iron Harvest tells an epic, overarching story following three factions and their protagonists. Each faction offers different tactical advantages in the intense strategic battles. This not only allows for an involving story spanning three separate campaigns with 20 missions, but also guarantees deep tactical multiplayer experiences in which strategy beats clicks-per-second every time. Additional skirmish and challenge maps allow players to challenge the AI alone or in co-op with a friend.
The Co-Opticrew has had it with slogging through the same routine every weekend. We've reached our breaking point, so it's only new horizons from here on out. Spurred on by all the new titles shown off in the recent Xbox Games Showcase, we've decided to start playing (checks email thread)... the exact same games we've been playing for the last two months.Nevertheless, we'll be spending this weekend journeying through the Master Chief's previous escapades, proving that our loot is the loot-iest, and installing safety rails in our Minecraft kingdoms. Check it out!Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Halo: MCC and Sea of Thieves."
