DLC for DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours on the Way

Three new DLC packs are on the way for DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours. Titled RayForce, Night Striker, and Metal Black, each of these are based around the video game of the same name that Taito developed/produced back in the day.In addition to a new playable level for DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours' CS mode, each DLC pack will also include a new ship that is based around the featured vehicle of the respective game, and some remixed music as well. Sadly, it appears these ships will only be usable within their specific DLC level. The DLC will be made available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and PS Vita versions of the game.No price point has been announced for the DLC, or release date, but the wording of the press release makes it sound like it should be sometime this month.

Could a Purely Co-Op Version of Halo 5's Warzone Happen?

Could a Purely Co-Op Version of Halo 5's Warzone Happen?

One of the biggest features of the latest Halo title, Halo 5: Guardians, is the team vs team Warzone. This new multiplayer mode pits two teams of 12 against one another to capture strategic points and score points in a very "DOTA-esque" fashion. Currently, this is a strictly PvP affair, but some of our readers have alerted us to 343 potentially being interested in opening it up to PvE.Please take note that this is all speculative, though 343 has been receptive to player feedback on the games and they did post a Q&A stating that such a mode is something they'd consider if there was enough interest in it. That's all some folks needed as an opening.Back in October of last year, a post was started on the Halo Waypoint forums for players to chime in and express their interest in seeing such a mode come to fruition. The thread has remained active to today and just after the New Year, one of the biggest proponents of there being a PvE Warzone tweeted at Bonnie Ross - founder and head of 343 Industries - asking for it to become a reality. Bonnie responded with the following:

Latest Diablo 3 Patch Causing Issues on Consoles

The latest Diablo 3 patch, 2.4, brought with it some cool new features for all you aRPG fans, including a new area, new dungeons specific to a particular class set, and a new season. But not all is rainbow and unicorns in the realms of Sanctuary. It appears the PS4 and XBox One versions of the game are experiencing some performance issues.Digital Foundry put together a video that highlights a couple of the issues user's are experiencing post-patch, such as input lag and frame stuttering, and users have taken to Blizzard's Diablo 3 forums to let the developer know about the issue and that they need to "FIX IT!"Blizzard has acknowledged the problems and is currently asking users to upload a video using the PS4's and Xbox One's respective record/share functionality, and then post a link to that video in the forum.

Watch F.A.L.C.O. Complete The Prison Break Heist Setup Missions

After last week's spout of seemingly never-ending (not to mention pointless) crime spree, the Friday Awesomely Live Co-Op crew started off this episode with a very clear goal. Pull off The Prison Heist in GTA Online. Despite several mix-ups and bad luck, we were able to finish the setup missions for The Prison Heist, the first of four 4-player heists we'll be attempting. Here are the setup missions for The Prison Heist which we completed with approximate times:Since the setup missions took longer than we expected, we figured we'd hold off on the finale. Instead we decided to wind down with some of the regular contact missions:

Video Showcases Character Abilities for Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2

about X hours ago from

Xbox On gives us a peek at the characters introduced in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. If eating zombies whole or pelting them with seeds as a sunflower didn't create enough chaos for you, these additions should make the game more interesting. All characters have distinctive offensive and defensive capabilities that suit different play styles. On the plant side, we have Rose, Citron, and Kernel Corn. Rose uses sorcery to slow time and transform zombies into goats. Unfortunately we don't foresee a tie in to Goat Simulator, but anything is possible. Citron rolls into battle quickly in ball form, and employs a shield so he can stay up close and personal. Finally, Kernel Corn is your basic run and gun offensive character. On the zombie side, we have Super Brainz, Deadbeard, and Imp. Super Brainz melees his way through hordes of plants, while Deadbeard fulfills your ranged needs. Players can even take control of Deadbeard's parrot to shoot artillery from above, although if Deadbeard takes damage you will be taken out of parrot control. Imp can call in a mech suit reminiscent of Titanfall, and use a gravity grenade to lift opponents.

EA Launches New Origin Access Program

about X hours ago from

Similar to its EA Access program on the Xbox One, EA has launched the Origin Access for PC. For the low, low price of $4.99 a month (or €3.99 or £3.99GBP), you'll be able to play the full version of selected EA titles (such as Dragon Age: Inquisition and Dead Space 3), play certain games ahead of their release, and purchase new games at a discounted rate. When EA first launched its Origin service back in June 2011, the system was intended to be something of a competitor to Steam (Valve's long-running digital distribution platform) with one important change: it was only for EA games. It didn't have the best of starts and poorly engendered itself to many PC gamers by making the service mandatory in order to play any new releases since its launch.Still, the platform has managed to survive this long and the EA Access program appears to be doing alright on the Xbox One. Bringing a similar program over to the PC makes sense as the infrastructure is already in place with Origin. From a value standpoint, you're essentially paying $60 a year for access to EA's backlog and a few demos/beta, which isn't that bad. Unlike the EA Access program, however, there's no option to get a year-long subscription at a reduced cost (EA Access is $4.99 a month as well but a year-long sub is $29.99).
