Sniper Elite 4 Co-Op Review

Sniper Elite 4 Co-Op Review

The Sniper Elite series’ staple has always been its bullet cam which follows your sniper’s shots from rifle to target in cinematic slow motion. Adding in an X-Ray feature, these killcams become a brutal, yet satisfying, way to keep players enticed to keep on sniping. A clean kill takes on new meaning as bullets pierce eyes, internal organs, and yes even the vaunted testicle shot, all in gory detail. Sniper Elite 4 doesn’t veer from this model at all, and after four games in the series for some people it might get old. Luckily, there’s so much more here.

Two New Adventures Coming to Victor Vran via DLC

about X hours ago from

When last we checked in with Haemimont Games' aRPG, Victor Vran, we heard it would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime this year. To add some icing to that particular slice of cake, the game will also be getting some new DLC that will be available for purchase for the PC version via Steam, or you can get everything in the "Victor Vran: Overkill Edition."The two new pieces of DLC add new areas to explore and conquer. In "Fractured Worlds," players will journey to "a dimension formed from the fragments of broken realms." New levels and an endless dungeon will await you. Then, taking a slightly different turn, you can bang you head to "Ace of Spades" while enjoying the other DLC, "Motörhead: Through the Ages." The premise for this is rather outrageous, so I'm just going to let the devs do the talking here:Many years ago, Lemmy stumbled upon a twisted dimension filled with pain. Suffering under the dominion of a cruel dictator Lemmy entrusted the mighty Snaggletooth that he may defend that world… but Snaggletooth now lies silent. Join Victor as he answers the call of Lloyd Kaufman, the bartender in The Pub at the End of Time, to investigate Snaggletooth’s mysterious downfall.

Dead Rising 4 Will Release on Steam Mid-March

about X hours ago from

Dead Rising 4 had a simultaneous PC and Xbox One release date back in December, but many PC gamers were unhappy that the only PC version available was the Microsoft Store version (making it Windows 10 only). In under a month, this will no longer be the case, because Dead Rising 4 will also be distributed via Steam starting March 14th.Though Dead Rising 4 was originally planned to be an Xbox Play Anywhere title (i.e. purchasing the digital copy of the Xbox One game also gives the buyer a free copy of the Windows 10 PC version), this functionality was later scrapped for the game. This left the PC version of the game in a strange limbo, where the only place PC players could buy it was the Microsoft Store. Many PC users prefer to use Steam, since they already have massive game libraries stored there. To celebrate its launch on the popular digital storefront, Capcom has released a short trailer:Dead Rising 4 supports up to 4-player online co-op in a separate co-op campaign mode. The game is out now on Xbox One and PC (Microsoft Store) and will receive its Steam launch on March 14th, 2017 (it's already available for pre-purchase with a 20% discount until launch).

New Troll And I Trailer Offers Features And Switch Announcement

about X hours ago from

I gotta admit, having a troll as your best friend would be pretty bangin'.  Stuck in traffic?  Just have it chuck a few cars out of the way.  Want a bigger house?  Just show it where the lumber is.  Getting sent to jail for mass embezzlement?  Just pay its way through law school and have it graduate in time to represent you in court.Spiral House, the developers of Troll and I, thought so too, but it looks like they're leaning more on the whole "mayhem and destruction" aspect than... you know, enrolling it in Harvard.  There's a new trailer out showing off the game's various features with a huge focus on the two player couch co-op.  Check it out:Did you watch 'til the end?  If so, you may have noticed that, after the March 21st release date was reiterated for all those boring, old consoles, the words "Coming Soon" hovered over none other than the box art for the Nintendo Switch!  Move over, Zelda, there's about to be Scandinavian mythology all up in this piece.

New Video of a Zoo Fighting Zombies

about X hours ago from

Nature's Zombie Apocalypse has been in early access on PC since June of 2015. Since then the game has continued to add content, update itself adding online co-op, and announce an Xbox One version in the works. While we still don't have a final date for the game, the latest version can be seen up and running with fifteen minutes of footage from the PC Gamer Weekender.I've always wanted to be a sloth fighting never ending hordes of zombies with up to eight friends. This just looks like good ol' fashioned arcade fun. Despite the long development timeline, we're hoping to see this one finalized soon.

Zombie Vikings Is Out Now On Xbox One

about X hours ago from

Zombie Vikings first stepped into our lives back in the Fall of 2015 on PlayStation 4.  Later that year, it made the logical step to the Personal Computer, and a few months past that, the crew at Zoink Games announced that they'd be bringing their co-op brawler to the Xbox One.  Then, as though mimicking the monks of old, the developers sequestered themselves into what I can only imagine is a mountainous cavern system which can only be entered by crawling through a stone etching of Odin himself.  They've just re-emerged, if not for a bit of fresh air, then at least to announce that Zombie Vikings has been released on Microsoft's home console. If you're curious just what Zombie Vikings is all about, we reviewed it back when it was first released on PlayStation 4.  In essence, you and up to three friends command a cadre of undead warriors as they seek to retrieve the eye of Odin from the trickster, Loki.  Throw in a bit of goofy humor and you've got yourself a game.
