Killing, My Friend is as fun as it is frantic and Hard-Boiled Software wants to bring the that feeling to consoles with an Xbox One release.  In true action film fashion, players are tasked with creating the most over-the-top action sequences in a variety of settings as they fill the screen with bullets and mayhem...and style. Style being the key word, players are working with friends to see who can be the most outlandish star of Hollywood's next big epic and complete the levels with the best score possible.Killing, My Friend was originally slated to release to Steam Early Access in Q4 of 2016, but never saw the light of day. Most likely this was due to the work being done to also bring the game to Xbox One, which has an expected release expected in Q1 of 2018. The team has released the following video to celebrate.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Ghost Recon Wild 'N Out

The Nintendo Switch still has its talons firmly planted in the Co-Opticrew, but it's proven difficult to wrest our collective interest away from the tactical hijinx permeating Ghost Recon Wildlands.  As evidenced by Mike's review, the game looks like it'll be slotting into our plans for more than a few weekends.  Who knew dismantling drug cartels could be so fun?Otherwise, we're up to the usual assortment of activities, ranging from shovel bashing to loot collecting.  Check it out:Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Practicing my not-so-stealth-skills in Ghost Recon Wildlands."

The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth Has A Nintendo Switch Release Date

The Nintendo Switch is out in full force, so naturally, games of all shapes and sizes are being announced left and right.  A standout in the proverbial flurry, though, has always been the roguelike twin-stick shooter, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+.  It's on just about every platform you can think of at this point, and while its Switch release was probably inevitable, it certainly lends a bit more heft to a system without a ton of available titles. The game was originally pushed as a launch title, but minor delays mean that it'll (for real) be out on March 17th.  The Binding of Isaac has gone through many iterations at this point, currently culminating in Afterbirth+, so you'll have plenty of content to work through on your fancy new system.Beginning with Rebirth, Isaac has always had the option of obtaining a partner in crime through the game's two player local co-op, with the second player controlling a "sidekick" in the form of an adorable ghost baby.  The limited capability isn't the most appealing way to play, but it still provides players with a reasonable way of working through the game's horrid dungeons together.

Styx: Shards of Darkness Adds Two Player Co-Op

about X hours ago from

Styx: Master of Shadows was released in 2014 to somewhat universal critical acclaim. As a fantasy stealth action game, it was fantastic and wholly unique. Fans of the game will be happy to know a sequel is out next week on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Called Styx: Shards of Darkness, players are once again dropped into the leather boots of an assassin troll...and this time they can bring a friend. It sounds like the entire game will be playable in two player co-op, with drop-in and out support at anytime. Playing co-op though won't make the game easy, instead, it'll make it more difficult as stealth must be coordinated along with a greater chance of being seen.Work together to create elaborate distractions, unleash dastardly synchronized assassinations, and run circles around larger enemies―every level and mission is playable in co-op and will open a new array of gameplay possibilities.
