Space Hulk: Deathwing Co-Op Stream Replay

about X hours ago from

It's never not a good time to don a giant mechanical suit, head into a derelict space craft, and purge some alien scum. Such is the life of a space marine int the Warhammer 40K universe. This week Mike, Jason, and Nick check out the latest update to Space Hulk: Deathwing - the tactical FPS from Streum On Studio on PC. The game has received a consistent series of updates since its release last December and the latest patch adds new abilities on top of other great additions like randomized levels and tweaked enemies. The game is also coming out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this Fall. As always, you can catch us Monday nights at 10PM live for our streams on Mixer - where you can see all of our player's perspectives in co-op.

Iron Crypticle Out Today on PlayStation 4

Gauntlet and Smash TV fans, rejoice! A new twin-stick shooter that draws inspiration from both of those titles has arrived today in the form of Iron Crypticle. This new game from Confused Pelican Games and Tikipod has a decidedly retro look and feel that makes me wish the arcade industry hadn't all but died out.Iron Crypticle allows up to four players to team up locally to rescue the princess from a "mysterious, malevolent force," and win back the kingdom's treasure. Each player controls his/her own knight and can pick up coins to use in between levels to buy useful items, as well as gobble up food to earn experience and upgrade their abilities.Iron Crypticle is out today for the PlayStation 4, and out tomorrow for the Xbox One and PC.

Watch A Full Hunt in Latest Monster Hunter: World Gameplay Video

One of the bigger reveals during this year's E3 was Monster Hunter: World, the first non-handheld/mobile title from the long-running franchise to be released in recent history. The debut trailer showed some clips of a hunter tracking down his prey and engaging it, and now the full 24-minute gameplay video is available. While there's no mention or sight of the four player online co-op in this clip, it's still a good rundown of the game's mechanics and some of the new features players will be able to enjoy, like pitting two monsters against each other in order to weaken your prey.Hopefully there'll be more news about the co-op in the coming months once the title makes the circuit through Gamescom in August and PAX Prime in September.

New Platinum Difficulty Added to Mass Effect: Andromeda Co-Op Mode

The latest update to Bioware's Mass Effect: Andromeda includes a number of fixes and tweaks to people's faces, which tended to go... awry, but more importantly (for us) it also added a new difficulty mode for the co-op mode. Along with that, a familiar alien race should be making its appearance in the mode's newest APEX right about now.The patch notes, which can be read in full over here, are rather vague about the whole thing and only say "also added Platinum difficulty to Multiplayer, featuring a new mixed enemy faction." However, the original tweet that teased this new mode also included a video of a Batarian, one of the alien species that made its debut (in a manner of speaking) in Mass Effect 2. Then, just a few moments ago, the Mass Effect Twitter account announced the new APEX mission (Firebase Magma) that gives players a chance to unlock a new class: the Batarian Scrapper.Breach hostile terrain with APEX in Firebase Magma. Jump into the fray for a chance to unlock the new Batarian Scrapper. pic.twitter.com/ruJCfNyY5T
