Check Out The Opening Trailer And Gameplay Footage For Attack On Titan 2

about X hours ago from

Starting today, at this very moment, you can swing around, gawk at, and slay naked giants in Attack on Titan 2.  Let's be honest with each other, who among us wouldn't take that opportunity?  In my opinion, naked giants have had it too good for too long.  It's time to really show them what's what.Perhaps, for whatever reason, you're not quite as convinced.  No worries!  Check out these two new videos from KOEI and see how you feel afterward.  There's over an hour of footage between the two, so if you fully watch both and are still feeling ambivalent... well, no one can say you didn't give it the ol' college try.The first, and by far shorter, of the two is the game's opening cinematic.

Sonic Mania Plus Arriving This Summer With New Characters, New Mode

This past Saturday, during the South by Southwest Festival, Sega announced that Sonic will be coming back to the consoles this summer in Sonic Mania Plus. This is largely the same game as last summer's hit, Sonic Mania, but it comes with a couple new additions, like two new Sonic character deep cuts.If you haven't picked up the game just yet and are interested in it, you're probably safe waiting until this summer when Sonic Mania Plus drops. The game adds a new "Encore Mode" that will offer plays a chance to play through same levels from the campaign, but remixed in new and interesting ways. Sega has also stated that there will be some visual tweaks applied in "Encore," but didn't state what that means, exactly. Along with the new mode, players can play through everything using either the standard roster of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, or as the new characters, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, which are taken from the 1993 arcade game, SegaSonic the Hedgehog.

Check Out Trailblazers' Track Painting in Action

Supergonk's cooperative racing title, Trailblazers, has definitely got some style to it, and a pretty unique idea. Rather than just be the fastest on the track, you've got to work with your friends to paint the road with your team's color, which in turn provides you with a bit of a boost. Want to know what that looks like in action? Good news!Trailblazers is out sometime May 2018 on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Up to three players can team up on the couch or online to take on a team of A.I. foes.

Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor - Martyr Gets a Release Date

about X hours ago from

Neocore Games' Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr now has an official release date. The game will be officially released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 11, 2018.As a quick refresher on what this game is, it's an action-RPG title in the Diablo 3 vein where players will be able to choose a character class, level up and spend skill points in a skill tree, and kill foes to get loot. In its own unique spin, though, Inquisitor - Martyr goes beyond just that. Within the game, players are part of a group (the Inquisitors) that are tasked with rooting out Chaotic corruption and eliminating it with extreme prejudice. So while there are straightforward missions to complete (kill X enemies, or destroy these key things), there are also larger Investigations in which players can partake that will chain together several missions in mini-story arcs. There will also be seasons where all players contribute in some way to what happens within the sector.

We're just a few days away from the release of Hazelight's entirely co-op action/adventure title, A Way Out. Josef Fares, the game's director, has been making the press rounds in anticipation of its imminent arrival and last week at GameSpot, he played through a portion of the title to show off that co-op in action while also discussing things like the game's length, working with EA to make the game, and more.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Vermin Royale

We've got battle royales and talking, aggressive rats on the mind this weekend.  Unfortunately, those two things aren't combined, but I'm definitely trademarking that IP.  Soon, I'll be the next Video Game Millionaire, and thousands of teens will stand in line to play my take on the "Murder Island" genre.  So long, suckers! While I'm waiting on that to happen, we've got board games, cat games, and evil games.  Check it out!Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Probably more Fortnite. Can't shake the addiction."
