LEGO: The Incredibles Game Announced

about X hours ago from

The Incredibles 2 from Disney-Pixar is set to release June 15th 2018 and, just announced this week, it will have a Lego video game releasing alongside it. LEGO: The Incredibles features both of the Incredibles movies and lets players ‘...defeat iconic Super Villains that control the city districts in an open-hub world, including Municiberg, in a brand-new exciting free-play experience.’ The game will be released on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC.The official announcement states that the “iconic characters” from the franchise will use their unique abilities and powers to fight crime and defend the city, but they can also be modified by visiting Edna Moe, though no further info on that feature has been released. With couch Co-Op being the only aspect of gameplay confirmed we are left to assume that LEGO: The Incredibles will be like other superhero-based Lego games. In previous titles different powers change the game’s dynamics so it's likely this title will be in a similar vein. However, there has never been a Pixar-based Lego game so what cameos of other Pixar series could show up and whether or not this will be a continuing trend has yet to be seen. The announcement trailer can be found below. Are you looking forward to The Incredibles 2, both in theaters and on your favorite gaming platform? Let us know in the comments below!

State Of Decay 2 Developers Tackle Base Building

about X hours ago from

In a recent Twitch stream, Undead Labs spoke about bases and the changes they are bringing to State of Decay 2 when it launches onto PC and Xbox One with Cross-Play later this year. The video below was part of the stream, so questions presented were being asked by the community.State of Decay released across Xbox 360 and PC in 2013 and later came to Xbox One. While the first title was single player only, the sequel is set to feature 4-Player Drop-In / Drop-Out Co-Op upon its release on May 22nd 2018. The video below covers everything from base sizes and locations, watchtowers, using doors, zombie sieges and more, but at the 21:00 minute mark the team addresses Co-Op specifically, talking about how base building allows players joining a friend’s world to use the friend’s presumably higher leveled base to make supplies. Will you be picking up State of Decay 2, now that you can survive with friends, or was the first encounter with the undead leave you wanting something different - like maybe some Dying Light style Co-Op?

Deep Rock Galactic Stream Recap

Ghost Ship Games' Deep Rock Galactic has officially made it into Early Access (or Game Preview if you're Microsoft) and we figured we should hop back into it to see how things have progressed since its Alpha. Things are definitely harder and the progression has been flushed out, but for those thinking is just another "Left 4 Dead style FPS" game... I think there's more to it than what's on the surface.
