Team Sonic Racing Gets Three More Characters Added To Its Lineup

Team Sonic Racing, Sumo Digital's third take on the blue hedgehog's racing series, was announced just a few weeks ago, prior to E3.  It's set for release sometime in the fourth quarter of this year, and folks got their first hands-on experience with the game at E3 itself. While TSR's full roster will offer fifteen characters from the Sonic universe upon release, the E3 demo only contained six:  Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Omega.  Thanks to a recent tweet from the speedster himself, though, we now know Amy Rose, Big the Cat, and a quartet of Chao characters make up three of the roster's nine remaining slots.New playable characters just revealed for Team Sonic Racing! - Amy Rose - Big the Cat - Four Chao, all driving together We could not be more proud. pic.twitter.com/J6khOItpzq

Super Bomberman R Co-Op Review

Before shooters took over the gaming scene, Bomberman was the premiere multiplayer gaming franchise. Though the series was known mostly for its competitive multiplayer, some of the best entries in the series – especially Saturn Bomberman – featured local co-op as well. After letting the series lie dormant for too long, Konami has finally revived the franchise with Super Bomberman R. The former Switch exclusive now resides on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam as well, bringing 2-player local co-op plus the local and online multiplayer that fans crave.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro with GameDAC Impressions

SteelSeries Arctis Pro with GameDAC Impressions

We have reviewed a lot of SteelSeries headsets over the past ten years on Co-Optimus. Over the course of that time we’ve seen the headset manufacturer from Chicago, IL improve on their designs over and over again. Steadily the quality has increased too with headsets now featuring a very premium feel. Their latest headset is no exception, adding to their Arctis lineup is the SteelSeries Arctis Pro with GameDAC; this is premium headset designed to compete directly with the likes of Astro Gaming’s A40 TX lineup. And compete they do.The other big upgrade is what’s in the actual headsets, the drivers for the speakers themselves. Sporting a frequency response of 10Hz to 40kHz, the Arctis Pro features one of the widest ranges of sound reproduction in the gaming headset market. For comparison the A40 line from Astro bottoms out around 15Hz and tops out around 30kHz. What does this mean? Deeper and more accurate lows and richer mids and highs. What this yields in reality is an overall more balanced sound experience, not something that’s too bassy or too tinny.
