Space Hulk: Deathwing Adds Free DLC with New Map

Spacehulk: DeathWing is getting some DLC today on the PC, with the PS4 version getting its DLC in the coming days. The content is in the form of a new map, Infested Mines, playable in Solo Special Missions and the game's four player online Co-op mode. The focus here is  more verticality, with twisting underground caverns and corridors which promises to "strike a balance between terrifying claustrophobia and wide-open battlefields."I just want to know if we can get in those mechanicus and wreak some havoc. With this update we're now at a count of eight maps available since the enhanced edition of the game released earlier this summer.  We had checked out the game back in July and came away impressed with the myriad of updates that were available.

Overcooked! 2 Stream Recap and Impressions

about X hours ago from

Ghost Town Games' Overcooked! 2 arrived last week on every platform, and if you were a fan of the original, then there's even more for you to love here. A new campaign, a new Arcade mode where you can play random levels with friends, new recipes, and new chefs! We dedicated this week's "Let's Play Co-Op" stream to doing our best to fulfill orders in a timely fashion and (mostly) succeeding.I was a big fan of the first Overcooked! For me, it was the co-op game of the year in 2016 and the only thing I could see it needing to make it even better was online co-op. Sure enough, the sequel includes that feature and also allows for combo co-op, so you can continue you yelling at friends on the couch while also yelling at ones that are further away. In addition to that, Overcooked! 2 also introduces the ability to throw ingredients to other players (no cooked ingredients, cookware, or plates, though). This allows for even more chaotic cooperation as you'll be hucking things back and forth between two moving rafts or balloon platforms, or just to laugh at a cucumber hitting your friend in the back of their head. Oh, there's also an emote wheel now, too, which I'm sure you or your friends won't abuse...

HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro Gaming Mouse Review

about X hours ago from

The HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro is the third gaming mouse the company has manufactured and, thus far, my favorite of the three. If you read my reviews on the previous two (the Pulsefire FPS and the Pulsefire Surge), you might remember how I wished I could smash the two together to create my ideal mouse. The Pulsefire FPS Pro makes those dreams a reality. The Pulsefire FPS Pro (henceforth, “FPS Pro”) has the body of the Pulsefire FPS (henceforth, “FPS”) with the internal features of the Pulsefire Surge (henceforth, “Surge”). Whereas the FPS was fully plug-and-play (i.e. completely functional out of the box, no software required), the Surge utilized the NGenuity software to offer more customization options like DPI settings, color settings, and macros. The FPS Pro is fully usable out of the box, but can also take advantage of NGenuity to customize the mouse. Since it features onboard memory, these settings can be saved in up to three gaming profiles directly on the mouse.

Strange Brigade's New Overview Trailer Dives Into Actual Gameplay

about X hours ago from

Can you believe Strange Brigade is a measly two weeks away from release?  A fortnight from now, you'll be knee-deep in monstrous limbs and using whatever guns and spells you can get your hands to fend them off.I know you're wondering what exactly that looks like, though, which is presumably why Rebellion has offered a substantial look at Strange Brigade's mechanics and modes in the below video.  It's decently long as far as trailers go and is most likely one of the last snippets of information we'll get before release day, so be sure to savor it as much as possible.Having previously worked on the Sniper Elite and Nazi Zombie Army series (among many others), the UK-based developer is no stranger to games with a strong focus on gunplay.  That said, the arcade-y bent of Strange Brigade is slightly outside of their traditional wheelhouse, so I'm curious to see how well they adapt to it.

There's A New Trailer For Destiny 2: Forsaken's Endgame

about X hours ago from

Destiny 2: Forsaken is out on September 4th, just a scant few weeks from now.  While Bungie is putting the finishing touches on their next big content drop, they passed out a trailer of some brand new endgame content for players to gawk over. The Dreaming City is Destiny's "largest endgame experience ever" and features all the things you'd expect for a new raid: puzzles to solve, mysteries to decipher, and tons of enemies for you to use all your fancy armaments on.  Bungie also explicitly warns players that a terrible evil lies at the heart of the city, most likely to prevent any lawsuits stemming from unstoppable corruption of one's very soul.Destiny 2's three player online co-op can be found on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.  Its first two expansions, Curse of Osiris and Warmind, came out in December of last year and May of this year, respectively.  You'll need both of those (as well as the base game) if you're interested in checking out Forsaken.  If you haven't played any Destiny 2 so far, but are entranced by the opportunity to explore the Dreaming City, the game's Forsaken Edition is now available for pre-purchase and contains everything necessary to hop right in.

Our Weekend In Gaming: I'm Back, Baybee!

The rumors are true - I've returned from the scarred wasteland of Indianapolis, and just in time to serve up a fresh, piping hot batch of Weekend in Gaming!  I have no doubt I was sorely missed by my beloved fanbase, but I assure you it was worth it, if for nothing else than the chance to see this dog.The Co-Opticrew is feeling the board gamin' groove this weekend, as three of our members are busting out some cardboard goodness.  Otherwise, we're being called to duty, exploring the procedural universe, and getting back to the classic struggle for Azeroth.  Check it out!Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Probably checking out the Blacks Ops 4 Beta."
