Play As Kiwis and Sort Mail in KeyWe

about X hours ago from

Ever wanted to a run a post office with a friend? Ok, but what if I told you you'd do it as a kiwi; interested now? I know I am. New developer Stonewheat & Son have a rather interesting puzzle platformer coming out sometime this year titled KeyWe, and the premise is just that: you and a buddy play as a couple of kiwi birds that have to sort and deliver mail for the fictional town of Bungalow Basin. The basic gist is that you and a friend will play as the kiwis Jeff and Debra, and it's up to you to work all the various levers, buttons, and other contraptions in the local post office in order to get the mail where it's supposed to go. The title was first debuted last Fall during last year's Orlando Interactive Experience (OrlandoiX) conference, and it's made quite a bit of progress since then. The newest gameplay video shows off how the different in-game seasons might affect your work, such as a sudden power outage where you'll need to flip two breakers to get going again. This looks like such a cute and fun game that I'm just watching the video over and over again to see the birds hop around. I'm also dying to know see all of the outfits you can put on them with that "Wardrobe" option; there's a little sneak peak at the end of the video, but I need more!

The Co-Op Challenge Mode Is Back In Mario Tennis Aces

There has been a relative dearth of solid sports titles from Nintendo in recent years, meaning we must savor every last morsel of that which is available, namely Mario Tennis Aces for the Nintendo Switch. The latest entry in Nintendo's classic tennis franchise came out in June of last year, and the developers have been maintaining a steady schedule of updates ever since.  Update 3.0, which arrived April 15th, has permanently added the "Ring Shot" mode as well as an update to the appropriately titled "Yoshi's Ring Shot" co-op challenge.  "Ring Shot" challenges players to volley shots back through a series of rings and get as high of a score as possible within a certain time limit.  The co-op version, which is available until June 1st, is largely similar, with the exception being that four times as many points are awarded for volleying through rings of the same color as your specific Yoshi."Yoshi's Ring Shot" can be played in local co-op by up to four players, and completing the mode's various objectives will unlock three new colors for Yoshi (or three Yoshis of different colors, depending on how you look at it).

World War Z Is Out Today

We've barely had time to digest the latest gameplay trailer, but nevertheless, the developers of World War Z have our next meal fresh out of the oven.  First, we'll be treated to a nice launch trailer apertif, followed by a main course, the whole dang game.I encourage you to take in the launch trailer first, as it will prepare your taste buds for all the zombie shootin' co-op mayhem to come.  In it, we get a brief glimpse of our heroes' globetrotting quest to fire every weapon imaginable at a truly absurd number of undead.  I'm assuming they have other objectives as well, such as protecting the remnants of humanity, but all the zombie slaying is, at the very least, a welcome byproduct. With the launch trailer now coursing through your system, you'll be well prepared for the full game, which is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.  As seen in the trailer, World War Z features a number of narrative co-op campaigns, each of which can be enjoyed online by up to four players.

Grim Dawn Forgotten Gods Expansion Now Available

about X hours ago from

The action RPG Grim Dawn has received another expansion in the form of the newly released Forgotten Gods. This expansion, much like Grim Dawn itself, is available now for PC and will likely be included when the game finally comes to consoles sometime in the (hopefully) not too distant future. The expansion is priced at $15.99 currently, but it does require the Ashes of Mammoth DLC ($17.00) in order to play, so be sure you’ve snagged that one as well. When it comes to features, the official Steam page reads; “Journey beyond the bounds of the Erulan Empire, traversing burning sands, lush oases and volcanic wastes to reach the sun beaten ruins of a city with secrets that should never have been disturbed. The flames of a forgotten god have been rekindled, sending ripples through the Eldritch realm and sowing terror even among the Witch Gods themselves. Discover hundreds of new unique items, unlock all-new mobility powers and venture into a brand-new game mode with endless replayability.”There is also a long list of “key features,” which contains over 10 new features brought in to this expansion, so you should check that out here.
