50 percent of all wars in EVE Online are started by just 5 groups

Conflict is the lifeblood of EVE Online, but how players initiate a war is a serious problem. Right now, 50 percent of all wars in EVE Online are instigated by just five corporations (EVE's version of guilds) who are exploiting the system to sow pain and chaos across the virtual galaxy of New Eden. It's become such a problem that, during the annual fan gathering at Las Vegas, CCP Games announced a series of changes to how war is declared and fought in EVE.

Battle Brothers is getting some scary-ass monsters in its first DLC

Battle Brothers was one of the surprises of 2017. The turn-based strategy game puts you in control of a mercenary party within a bottomless, procedurally-generated fantasy campaign. It's brutal on default difficulty or above, even compared to similar games like XCOM. Your mercs can be permanently maimed, you can't heal mid-combat, and soldiers who fail morale checks automatically flee.

And they've made good on that promise: There's a playable demo for EVE Vegas attendees, too.

And score one for the big brain on Steve, because the studio announced today that it will go live, free for all players, this November.

Discord's TOS update forbids lawsuits against it, but you can opt out

Discord recently launched its own digital storefront with a curated selection of games, access to a whole bunch more through its Nitro subscription plan, and a DRM system that didn't get off to the best possible start. It also made some changes to its terms of service that you might want to take note of, because it now contains a "binding arbitration provision and class action waiver" that prohibits users from filing lawsuits against it.
