Please Welcome The Fall 2018 Game Informer Interns

The weather is getting colder, and our backlogs are getting bigger. That must mean it's fall. With the changing of the seasons, we also have a new batch of Game Informer interns who will be helping us cover all the important video game news and gamer culture stories over the next three months. Come meet the new G.I. interns.

These young writers come from a variety of places across the country, but they all have one thing in common: a love of video games. Expect to see plenty of news, features, and more popping up on the website from Jill Grodt and John-Paul Gemborys. Below you'll find a short bio of each intern, so you can get to know them better.

Goku's Super Saiyan God Form Will Be In Jump Force

Goku won’t be holding back in Bandai Namco’s upcoming anime brawler. This morning, the developer tweeted out that Goku’s SSGSS form from Dragon Ball Super will be available to players in a roster already packed to the gills with Shonen Jump heavyweights.

While the tweet doesn’t show any footage of Goku’s blue-haired form, the developer also tweeted that this was just a “teaser” and to “stay tuned.” Last week it was also announced that Yu-Gi-Oh’s Yugi Moto will be joining the fray, so it will be interesting to see how a super-powered Goku stacks up against the dark magician.

Jump Force will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next year.

Is Insomniac Teasing A New Game In Spider-Man?

Marvel's Spider-Man is a world brimming with detail, and one of its fascinating features is its in-game version of Twitter. Spider-Man has his own account, titled NYCWallCrawler, and updates on his feed react to your actions in the game.

One of the updates in particular on Spider-Man's feed has caught fans by surprise. The "tweet" is written under the name igTedPrice (suggesting that it's Insomniac Games' CEO Ted Price), and says, "Hey did you hear insomniacgames is announcing a new game next week?"

Check out the screenshot below, which was taken by our news editor Imran Khan and then shared on Twitter (real Twitter, this time!).

547 People Dress As Spider-Man To Break World Record

547 People Dress As Spider-Man To Break World Record

Some world records are pretty ridiculous, like how many apples can be held in your mouth while they're simultaneously cut by a chainsaw in one minute (the answer is 21 apples, it turns out), or how far you can walk while lifting a table with your teeth (38 feet and 8 inches).

Even here at Game Informer, we've beaten several gaming-related Guinness World Records.

Today in Stockholm, Sweden, Marvel and Sony wanted to celebrate the recent launch and success of Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4, by breaking a Guinness World Record of their own.

Watch The Second Trailer For Catherine: Full Body

Watch The Second Trailer For Catherine: Full Body

Last year, we found out that Catherine was getting re-released for PlayStation 4 and Vita. Titled Catherine: Full Body, publisher Atlus says it'll include new content, as well as a third love interest called Rin. Now, Atlus has released a new Japanese trailer showing off more of what we can expect.

You can watch it below. Note that the actual trailer begins around 0:40.

Aside from additions to the original story and its characters, Catherine: Full Body will also feature new puzzle content and more. An interesting tidbit is how Persona 5's Joker will be a playable character in DLC content, though it's unclear whether the DLC will have a Western release.
