GameInformer News Tim Stamper, one of the co-founders of Rare and partially responsible for classics Rare titles like Banjo-Kazooie and GoldenEye 007, is back releasing new games since departing the industry back in 2007. This time Tim Stamper’s new project is all about bouncing adorable little critters across your mobile device.
The vaguely and extremely British-titled game, That Bouncy Thing! The Rubbishiest Game Ever, is now available on Android devices. Former Rare composer Grant Kirkhope shared the news on Twitter, and a conversation between him and developer FortuneFish reveals that the iOS version is awaiting approval from Apple before it can hit iOS devices.
The game is all about ricocheting cute little animals across heaps of garbage to the goal at the end. Players can even rearrange the rubbish to better bounce their pets or rewind time if something goes amiss.

Notch now owns a $70 million Beverly Hills mansion, but we bet he’d rather live in this swank Minecraft recreation of the property…or maybe not. We can’t say what he’d really like.
Last week, Minecraft creator Notch bought a $70 million Beverly Hills mansion before Jay-Z and Beyonce could snag the property. We all stared in awe at the extravagance, but now we can stare at awe at this Minecraft recreation of the home. Notch's life has started to come full circle; pretty soon his entire life will be inside the matrix.

Norman Reedus, known predominantly for playing Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, shared a very small update about progress on Silent Hills in a recent A.M.A. on Reddit.
Reedus' role in Silent Hills was revealed after completing the P.T., in which players learned they had been playing as a character with his likeness the whole time in a demo for a new Silent Hill. In his Reddit A.M.A., Reedus wrote, "I’m super excited to be a part of [Silent Hills]. Both [Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro] are geniuses at what they do. We haven't shot the heavy stuff yet. Kojima approached me right after Guillermo did."
It's a small update, but an update none the less.

When Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars released on iOS, it was not a universal app across iPhone and iPad. Now it is, and the game is also available on Android.
The game received a number of updates all at once actually. It now supports Retina display resolutions, widescreen for post-iPhone 5 devices, new adjustable virtual controls, and MFi controller support. Right now there are still two versions of the game on the iTunes App Store, but that is only temporary.
For our review of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on DS where Andrew Reiner wrote, "Don't let the diminutive size or nostalgic look fool you, this is just as complete of a Grand Theft Auto experience as any of the console iterations.," head here.

Telltale delivers all of its games in episodes and Resident Evil Revelations 2 is adopting the structure. Do you prefer it?
I understand the advantages of episodic delivery on the development side of video games, but as a consumer and player, I much prefer the traditional "everything at once" delivery. My game playing opportunities usually appear periodically and unpredictably in large chunks rather than on a consistent schedule, as episodic games favor. Also, having to leave a game behind for a few weeks and then re-enter it breaks the immersion and also forces you to relearn how to play the game.
What about you? Do you like playing games in crafted chunks spread out over a long period of time? Or do want everything all at once so you can make as much progress as possible?

The Pokémon Company has released the music from the latest Pokémon game on iTunes.
You can head here to grab the soundtrack for $9.99. You can also head here to find our review of Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Finally, you can head here to find a poem I wrote about Pokémon to read out loud while you play the soundtrack softly in the background.
Nintendo began releasing the soundtracks for its assorted Pokémon games late last year. You can find the soundtracks for Pokémon X & Y, Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen, Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver, Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, Pokémon Diamond & Pearl, Pokémon Black & White, and Pokémon Black & White 2 by following the links.
Final Fantasy is a huge series with lots of memorable tracks – enough tracks to fill up two rhythm games, as it turns out. It’s not the only series (and nether is Dragon Quest), however, full of enough fantastic music to merit its own dedicated rhythm game release.
CastlevaniaMuch like Final Fantasy, Castlevania has been releasing with a fair amount of consistency since the Nintendo era, and they all have great music. Even the Lords of Shadows games, which are noteworthy for reasons other than their soundtracks, could comfortably have a few songs in the game. Since most of Castlevania’s tunes are upbeat and fast, it would make especially good rhythm game fodder.
Best conceivable track: Bloody Tears from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, basically because it’s a classic.(Please visit the site to view this media)
