YouTube has released a new list of trending games on the service. Two of the games on the list aren’t out yet, but had betas pushing interest to the top of the rankings.

Topping the list is the upcoming Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. An open beta in the middle of the month was available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Right behind it on the list was Ubisoft’s anticipated MMO shooter, The Division. A closed beta was offered at the end of the month to those that pre-ordered.

Players who want to breathe a little life into their Minecraft characters are in luck. The Windows 10 Edition Beta and Pocket Edition of the game are getting new character skins based on the Chinese novel Journey to the West.

The pack features more than a dozen new character skins, and it's available for purchase $1.99.

Journey to the West was first published in the 16th century, but it's still a source of inspiration for creators and storytellers today. You might recognize it as the basis for the 2010 game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Or not.

If you're an adventurer looking for treasure, look no further. Sony has announced a limited-edition Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle to celebrate the game's release on April 26.

The bundle is $399.99 ($499.99 in Canada) and includes a 500GB console w/ silk-screened image and gold script, the game, and a custom controller.

Preorders are now being taken, and if you do put some money down early on the system you'll get a voucher for an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune outfit, a gold weapon skin, and points for the game's multiplayer mode.

Doom Roars To Release In May, Collector’s Edition Announced

Doom is set for its return in just a few months. Bethesda announced today a May release date for the game and a collector’s edition.

The collector’s edition is a partnership with collectible maker TriForce. Included is a 12-inch statue of one of the Doom’s demons, The Revenant. 

The statue was created with in-game reference files and sits on an base lit by LEDs. The turbine upon which the monster stands has an internal, slow-spinning mechanism. The game itself comes in a steelbook case exclusive to this edition. The upgraded version is priced at $119.99.

Just Cause 3 And Rise Of The Tomb Raider Boost Square Enix Revenue, Profits

Square Enix, which just a couple of years ago was struggling, continues to make significant financial gains. The company is posting increased revenue, operating income, and profits for the first nine months of the current fiscal year.

The company says that both Just Cause 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider are off to strong starts. The digital entertainment division, which houses all of Square Enix’s console, PC, and mobile games, is up markedly over last year, with revenue boosted 46 percent and operating income up 64 percent.

Company-wide for the first nine months of the year, Square Enix sales are up 28.5 percent to ¥152.8 billion ($1.3 billion). Profits are up 24 percent to ¥13.5 billion ($113.6 million).

The cancellation was announced with a short, but straightforward statement on Steam which you can see below:

Report: Rocket League Should Be Coming To Xbox One This Month

Rocket League was one of the best surprises of 2015, infusing the joys of soccer with over-sized RC cars. PC and PlayStation 4 players have had access to the game while Xbox One players have been left out in the cold but, according to developer Psyonix, that could change later this month.

When asked by a Twitter user when Rocket League would be coming to Xbox One, Psyonix replied with this tweet saying that the game was going through certification and that mid-February was still the developer's target for release:

Overwatch Closed Beta Returns February 9

A couple of weeks ago Blizzard announced that the closed beta for Overwatch would be coming back in February with new features as well. Today, the publisher revealed the exact date as well as a list of the new features coming to the beta.

The changes were listed on Overwatch's blog

Players who had previous access to the beta will still have it with this new version. The blog notes that Blizzard is looking for more players to test out the new content and is encouraging newcomers to sign up for a chance to play the beta.
