After months of relative silence, Nintendo has finally revealed the actual name of its upcoming platform, which has going by the codename of NX since its initial announcement in early 2015. The new system is called the Nintendo Switch.
The system features a controller that pulls in half and attaches to a portable screen to enable gaming on the go. This is in line with previous reports that suggested some sort of console/handheld hybrid system.
You can see the console's preview trailer below.

Part of what made this year's Doom so great was its return to a more classic, arcade style of shooting. It keeps the action high and the cutscenes low, meaning you're always in the thick of it and shooting more demons.
With its latest update to the game, Bethesda and Id are hoping to further harness that style. The update adds a new arcade mode which allows players to go into every level with every gun, rune and equipment fully upgraded and compete with their friends online for high scores.
The update also adds new "Classic Modules," which let players build levels resembling those of earlier games. Finally, two new multiplayer modes, Possession and Bloodrush, create asychronous teams of Marines and Prowler demons and have players managing their ability to respawn, respectively. The update is available now. You can watch a trailer for the update below.

Dragon Ball Super is the 18-year-late sequel to Dragon Ball Z, picking up right after the end show's Buu saga. Although the anime (along with last year's Dragon Ball Xenoverse) has managed to renew interest in the long-dormant Dragon Ball series, fans looking for a version with English subtitles have had to wait patiently.
Fortunately, they won't have to wait much longer. Toei Animation has announced that Dragon Ball Super will be simulcasting on anime streaming services Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Anime Lab starting October 22 at 6pm Pacific Time. Subscribers to these services in North and South America, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand will be able to watch the latest episode, "“Don’t Define Saiyan Cells! The Curtain Rises on Vegeta’s Intense Battle!!" at the same time it airs on Japanese television. From there, they can expect to tune in every week for new episodes.
No word was given as to whether older episodes will receive subtitles, or when an English voice translation of the show may be coming.

Ancel posted the above art on his Instagram account with the following text:
The game was playable with many prototypes. All videos where realtime but we had too much technical issues. We wanted planet exploration, space travel, cities... All this was also supposed to be in BGE 1... Instead of not doing the game of our dreams, we decided to return to 2d, have fun with Rayman and go back at work for Beyond good and Evil 2. We still have loooooots of work but now the tech is ready and the team is fantastic !

Maybe Russia isn't the only country trying to stir things up this election from afar... Pokémon Sun and Moon feature a Pokémon (Yungoos/Gumshoos) that looks a lot like Donald Trump. Was this intentional on the part of the developer?
We asked that question of producer Junichi Masuda, who replied:
"It’s a very American-centric question I think," said Masuda, "and actually a lot of people sent me comparison photos on Twitter pointing out the resemblance. But we had started the design of this Pokémon a long time back, and we didn’t have any intention to make it look like Donald Trump."
